What is BriteSmile? Marsh Dental Care is proud to be a BriteSmile Approved Whitening Centre. BriteSmile provides state of the art tooth whitening treatment in one hour. The treatment involves the application of a gel to your teeth and it's activation by a special blue light. Clinical tests have shown the treatment to be both effective and safe. Improvements of up to 8 shades can be achieved with darker teeth showing the biggest improvements.

Does it hurt?
Studies have shown that the treatment in no way damages the structure of your teeth. A small percentage of people can experience some sensitivity for a short time which then resolves. What does the treatment involve?
A pre treatment assessment is carried out to ensure your mouth is healthy. We also can advise you what change in shade can be expected in your particular case. The treatment involves the application of a gel to your teeth and it's activation by a special light. The gel is applied three times and the whitening process takes around an hour. Digital photographs of your teeth are taken before and after treatment for you. DVD television goggles are available to provide entertainment whilst the treatment is carried out. Does it work on caps, veneers or bonds?
The BriteSmile professional teeth whitening treatment has been successful at removing stains from caps, veneers or bonded teeth. However, a whitening procedure in general cannot change the colour of the caps, veneers or bonds. We recommend that you discuss your situation with the dentist to determine what you can expect.
